Alix’s “Iced Latte” is a bright, captivating pop track wrapped in catchy melodies and playfully sincere lyrics. Capturing the realization that with the right person, life could be carefree, this soundtrack dedicated to unexpected love is bound to stay with you from love at first listen.
From her home studio, Alix wrote, recorded, produced, and creatively directed Iced Latte, shaping every aspect of the track from sound to vision.
“Just In Case” is a warm melodic ride that proves difficult to not get stuck in one's head. The track has similar stylings to Taylor Swift, Tate McRae, Gracie Abrams, Fletcher, Maren Morris, SZA and other bedroom pop artists.

California based singer, songwriter, Alix captivates listeners with her signature velvet tone and relatable, emotionally charged lyrics.
Silky melodies and straight forward lyrics compliment feel-good golden instrumentals, giving her a warm homemade sound. Her voice is a soothing embrace, wrapping around you with every note.
Raised in the creative atmosphere of the Bay Area and spending significant time in Los Angeles, Alix has always been immersed in artistic expression. Her versatility spans multiple creative fields, including singing, songwriting, drawing, painting, photography, videography and graphic art.
Influenced by a wide range of artists and genres, Alix’s music is a reflection of her diverse inspirations, effortlessly blending heartfelt storytelling with a polished, soulful sound that consistently draws in her audience.
As the founder of her own record label and publishing company, Alix not only writes and records her own music but also crafts songs for other artists, offering a unique blend of creative vision and technical skill. Working mostly from her home studio, she handles every aspect of her music—from songwriting and vocal production to recording and creating the accompanying visuals.
BEHIND THE MAKING OF 'ICED LATTE'
I had written both the melody and lyrics. They kind of built themselves hand in hand, the main lyrics naturally flowing into the melodies when I first free-styled them. The concept of falling in love without warning felt a perfect fit with the bounce of the notes. I wanted the instrumental to capture that feeling as well. I wanted it to be simple and warm with a cinematic kind of build, supporting the vocals as they told the story. I started with an easy guitar and added a bass that filled the listening space. I added a delicate touch of piano and chill drums. I wanted the listener to feel like they were also lost in new love as they listened. For me, strings always bring out emotion best so I added some to the last chorus and layered some background vocals.
I recorded my own vocals at my home studio in Mill Valley, CA. I wrote the song in one day but spent a few months slowly building the beat. I was learning some new sounds as I produced the beat so I used the song as a bit of a learning exercise.
Once I was happy with how everything sounded, I sent the song off to be finalized with my mixing and mastering engineer, Miklos Malek.
I was very inspired by Taylor Swift for this one. She is the queen of taking clique ideas of love and turning them into unique takes on the concept with catchy earworms that completely capture the feeling and emotion she is trying to convey. She does not fail to write a song that gets stuck in your head.I wanted to achieve that. Capturing the feeling of accidentally falling in love in perfect simplicity. For the content, I was influenced by my boyfriend who inspired the feelings I put into words for this song.

Alix made this custom press on nail set for the "Iced Latte" video which features hand painted lavender flowers.
Alix actually hand paints custom clothing pieces and will be opening a store called "Alix Made It" - Coming Soon!
WHAT'S NEXT?
After "Iced Latte" Alix will be releasing her single "Tangerine".
"I'll be releasing these two love songs as I am needing some joy to get lost in. The project to follow is looking to be a very different feel."
She is currently working on a full project that shows a bit of a darker side of Alix.
